Are very few industries have been it is hard and had the potential grows much as a commercial full color printing industry. As you have seen so many times over the last 10 years companies and been able to come out and position themselves to Thursday for marketing techniques such as paper click advertising, as well as search engine optimization and affiliate programs. By using these various different marketing techniques there been a slew of different companies that have been able to take over just about entire marketing shares. The good thing about the Internet is that you can be seen throughout the whole entire world provider your website is correctly optimize for search engine optimization and then as well as a well thought out pay per click marketing campaign. This particular proposition deftly has good news bad news properties within it. And here’s the good news within a click of a button millions of people are actually able to find your website to the very stiff and search engines. But that is also the bad news. Because everybody has been able to come across your to the Internet. Most times things that make you different from your competitors is to be able to give the client more product for less money. So let’s take a look at this for a second if my competitors offering 5000 full color business cards for $150. than I can turn around and offer a 5000 full color business cards for $125. And then another big commercial printing company sees that company a is or from $150 for full color business cards and company be is offering $125 for full color business cards. Then they come out more for 5000 full color business cards for $99 and then kick in free shipping as an added perk to the client. So doesn’t take long to figure out that as a result of the Internet. Many many businesses have become commoditized. So for a company to have longevity as well as profitability is imperative for a commercial printer to distinguish itself from his competitors. I think this is why so many companies have chosen to go niche rather than mainstream. The more niche to product, the more it’s in demand. So as far as I see it. That’s the real question that needs to be answered is how far can you sway away from what your competitors are doing. And then at that point just about exploiting those products and services, out into the world. This information has no boundaries in any products, and she reported in to every and any product that relates to, marketing promotion full color printing, catalog printing, direct mail services, presentation folders, full color flyers, Brochure Printing, Color catalogs.

I think one of the things that were all guilty of doing, whether you’re in the commercial printing. All year selling cars to people locally. Essential care what it is that you do, but most of us at some time or another is business owners have neglected our clients. It’s still often than I hear companies concerned again and again about how the gun to bring new business into their companies. And a lot of times there is tremendous amount of business within start our existing client base. The problem is that for not reaching out to these clients to direct mail marketing pieces by using nice-looking full-color brochures or full color postcards and were missing the boat. Usually most companies as many opportunities to put marketing material in various different collateral that they give to their clients. Yet ceased to do this. Our full color printing company has been the same way and many times. One of my newest ideas I came up with as I told my partner. What we should be doing is taking a nicely done full color trifold brochure or and putting into every single box. That leaves our facility. Think about it this way, on average. Our company sends out 30 to 40 boxes a day. The client is a repeat for shipping of the material back to the location. So by take a brochure and put a within side of their box showing various different products that we or for as well as new products that were starting to offer. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out or going to get a certain amount of business and that the clients paying for the shipping anyway, so they don’t care if I give them something else to look at for free. This to me is a win-win takes care of some free marketing for you as the company and allows your customer who obviously are we like shoe because it doing business with you on a regular basis to have the possibility may be referring your new clients and/or taking you up on some of your new services that he may not have known that you offered in the past.

When was the last time you update your full-color brochure. Most companies don’t think about this on a regular basis, but the truth is, it is very important to keep your company look and design up to date. I guess that’s why so important that hire and work with a quality graphic design company. Your corporate identity is similar to wallpaper, what wallpaper was: updated back in 2002 would not be considered to be: updated in 2008. That’s why it’s so important to stay ahead of the curve. You should also keep in mind obviously that when updating this information is also needs to be liquefied throughout all of your different marketing collateral. Such is full color business, cards full color pocket, folder’s full-color posters, full-color rack cards. I can’t tell you how many times did I see people come into her office is looking to redesign. One part of their corporate identity, and there is drastic inconsistency with their business cards to their postcards, right down the line to all the promotional collateral. Some clients Alexy come in with two different business cards completely different designs on completely different stocks. That’s why try to pound into the consciousness of every promotional director and marketing director that it’s imperative to have consistency in a corporation. One of our slogans in the printing company is, prices is important, but you your image is everything.

Here’s one of the things I’ve been thinking about most recently. Very often we think about selling a product we think of it from the standpoint of what it is that we would like to get accomplished in the world. In our particular case, obviously we want to sell as much printing as we possibly can as well as service our existing client base. The problem is that only think about it from the standpoint would inevitably ends up happening is, we find the customer being resistance. In my organization, I had a sales meeting this week. I have been listening to the book made to stick on audio tape in my car. There was an article about a newspaper in a small town that a subscription base of 110%. When asked the editor replied the reason that he was so successful is because they were great at doing local news and putting local people newspaper which had their readership. Always focused in on the papers much as possible see if they were being mentioned in today’s newspaper. In my particular case, as I said before, I want to sell as many full color letterhead and envelopes as I possibly can. I want to sell as many $99 full color business cards as I possibly can. I want to be the leader in full-color pocket folders throughout the whole entire nation. I want people in the printing industry throughout the whole entire world to notice my business and its ability to grow in an ever-changing marketplace. I want all customers in people when thinking of a full color printing comp and he thinking of our company. So now that I got that one across the point is that these are the things that I want and not necessarily what the client wants. I sat down myself staff, on Tuesday this week, I told them to start going local. What I mean by this is to actually find out what’s going on in some of the communities where we have our customers or potential customers. A great way doing this is one of the things you can do is just get an RSS news feed through the Internet for the specific state or city that you’re looking to do some potential business in. That’s what I mean by getting into other people’s world. I told myself people that you need to be able to call up a person and be able to make a comment about something is going on in their local newspaper. Maybe a new governor was elected or new politician of some sort may lose some kind of big bicycle race. Or maybe it’s just something as simple as their team won the Super Bowl or the World Series. My point is I think you’ll find at the level of cool: that’s for sure that people will be very interested in talking to if you can bring down that first screen of resistance. So there you have it, think less of what it is that you want to do and more about what the customer might be interested in, and I think he’ll sell times more product. This goes for cold calling, direct-mailing, the full-color catalog that you’re about to produce. All I can tell you is that for full-color printing business on loan to bring this whole concept into all of my full-color printing and graphics products

Obviously there are many different products that one can use to create an effective marketing campaign. It has been my experience in the past that some people clearly down with play. How important it is to create the right call to action that will have your audience purchasing from you.
Let’s look a little bit about how some businesses are more effective than other businesses at the level of their marketing campaigns. And as I speak about marketing campaign some encompassing all types of different marketing techniques such as direct mailing services, guerrilla marketing full color flyers, thank your full color letterheads & envelopes internally.
It is a question I asked people on a regular basis. If you took a piece of toilet paper and put your name and number on it and do a little logo by hand and handed that out as a source of your business card. What do you think most people’s response would be, more formally, how do you think that you would leave deck client in their perception about you and your company. So the next question is as if you did the same thing. But yet and so using toilet paper you used a nice piece of paper that had been cut to a 2 x 3.5 size, which is your average size for business card and you wrote your name and number need legal and sketched a logo about your company on a business card, would he think people’s response would be that in having you think that they would view you in your company after receiving that as well. Then you took that same exact piece of paper. Instead of sketching anything you actually created a nice two color logo with a simple, easy-to-read font.
Obviously the more professionally, you can make something look, as well as not having it appear or occurred or be cluttered, the better off you are.
The next thing that’s obviously very important is to create a very strong and effective call to action on those very stiff and pieces whether they be business card sized flyers, a full-color 4 x 9 rack card, an 8.5 x 11 full-color trifold brochure, or a 40 page full-color catalog. What you say on these particular products is very important in the effectiveness and profitability of these tools that have the ability of impacting your business in a positive way.
Some other thing is that you can actually create from effective call to action is what’s known eight take action statement.
They generally look something like this.
: for a limited time only when you purchase 5000 full-color postcards. You will receive 5000 complementary business cards with a retail value $150. While supplies last, good only for the next 30 days with an expiration date
: if you’re one of the first 300 callers, you will be put into a drawing to receive $5,00. in cash.
These are simple but effective calls action which would have your average customer looking to take advantage of these particular situations. What I normally like to use is what’s known as a media mix. Generally, what you’ll do is you are actually create four or five different products that would actually have you have an effective marketing campaign and use them all simultaneously within the first 30 days to market that specific product. When I would generally do is suggest to a customer to order a full color vinyl banner, a full-color 24 x 36 inch poster, a 4 x 9 rack card to be distributed through local retail stores. I may also have them create a nice full-color brochure as well. Then when I generally would tell them to do is with the full-color rack cards to put the manner local retailers. Maybe sent out 5000 piece mailer to the very different retail markets, they’re looking to penetrate. And then also to send out a nice size catalog to their existing client base.
I would also make sure that the graphic designer was working on one piece is saying graphic designer designing old pieces soon and there is a consistency to wall the marketing material.
When the companies that I referred to now and then to my readers so they can purchase affordable full-color printing is the website www.preferredprint.com

Things to do and not to do on a direct-mail campaign..
1.) First off, the reason most mailing campaigns fail is because the the business owner and his pulling the plug before has a chance to be successful. Has been estimated many times that a person must see you’re at least four times before they even contemplate on purchasing from you.
I’ve said this before, and some of the articles I’ve posted that direct marketing works a lot like brainwashing. Every person I’ve ever talked to for as long as I can remember told me that appetizing works to frequency clients have to see a product again and again and to the repetition. You’re able to create sales.
2.) One thing that a lot of people fail to do in marketing campaigns is to create some type of form of testing and measuring the results of that advertisement. As I mentioned before, I’m working with the business coach presently for my businesses, and she was working with a client or spending roughly $18,000 a month in print ads. Should mention to this gentleman if he is ever done a test and measuring to find out what his actual return is on his investment. He replied that he had not ever tested. The actual ad, but he wished pretty sure that was working fairly well. Needless to say they came up with a practical way of creating some type of value within that had that will have people call it his business to take advantage of that or for. What they found was disturbing to say the least. They found that he was spending $18,000 a month for last three years. And apparently the publication’s readers were not interested in what he had to offer. This is you could imagine was very disturbing to her client. That’s what I tell people on a regular basis that I run into is make sure that your testing and measuring your direct-mail campaigns. All of your print ads in your various different magazines and publications. Even if you doing TV commercials to me it’s very important to create some type of value to the viewers of that as well.
3.) I have tried to send out various different postcards, as well as letters folded down into an envelope. And it seems to me when I create an actual value. People generally call. I created an ad sometime back and read in one of these local free newspapers. It was funny because in that newspaper. I advertise a lot of different prices. The one price that people seem to really chime in on was 5000 full color business cards starting as low as $99. Looking back at it now. What I would’ve done is to just do one ad, 6″ x 9″ strictly promoting 5000 full color business cards for only $99. He is a would end up happening as a result of this marketing and what happens in most marketing ads. People would come into our office with the intention of purchasing 5000 full color business cards for $99. Bowl would end up happening is they would come in and purchase those business cards for $99 and then end up spending a heck of a lot more than that to very stiff and products that they need to go with those business cards I remember a client came in one day for the business card special. What ended up happening was by the time they left the office that day than is spending $5,000. Obviously was worth it to do a special like that because the end result was. People actually in the purchasing things from us.
4.) These are important methods to think about the next time that you’re coming up with a marketing campaign.
Whether it’s a full-color brochure, full-color rack card for mailing purposes, full color postcards for direct mailing, or full-color flyer to do hand-to-hand distribution within the conference center. Make sure you have a strong call to action.

This is something that applies to virtually every and all full color printing products. One of things that I’ve noticed since full color printing has become so popular, the overuse of colors. What I mean by this is quite simply, it looks like somebody from the coal over peace has become so busy chanting and decipher what it is that they’re trying to sell versus what the actual copy is itself. Quite simply said is they create too much information with too much busyness in the background, which dilutes the actual message of what it is that you’re trying to accomplish. Sometimes I asked a simple question, what is the purpose of marketing? You would think the answer would be obviously to create sales. It seems to me that sometimes the products is so busy that you came and decipher what the call to action on the page is.
Plastic Cards, Pocket Folders,Poster Printing,Rack Card Printing,Vinyl Banner Printing,Catalog Printing,Catalog Printing, Color Printing Services,Direct marketing,Flyer Printing,Direct marketing
in the paragraph above is a list of various different full color printing projects that you may see a company order at any given time. I personally feel that the use of light and the background is obviously a very good thing. It cuts down on the busyness of the project and/or the message. I feel deeply nice image with a decent space of why is well. And then the message of whatever you call to action is very effective way to get point. Your point across. That’s why really believe that less is more. A nice image that has the person be drawn into the marketing piece and then exceptional hook that has them ponder and think like me and this is something I could use, or I got a have this.
As time goes on my hope to give you some difference designs that I think are good, versus ones I think are bad. Also affected and calls to action versus nonaffected calls to action. Essentially what I’m drawn to say’s marketing pieces and actually get a return on your investment.

First off, I want to apologize if there are some typos in some of the stuff in which I’ve been speaking about. I have to admit, I’m not very good at typing. I have been using a program which some of you may have heard of, which is called natural speaking dragon. The way this program works ejections speaking to a headset and it.’s supposed to take whatever you speak about and turn them into text. So there are definitely times at there have been some typos probably does the program has not understood what I’ve been speaking about not to mention the fact that I have not really done virtually any proof reading to find out if the program has made some mistakes. I do however want you to know that the things I do speak about I do every with extensive knowledge about them. So I apologize. And thank you for your forgiveness if you have been coming across some typos. In the meantime, feel free to leave any type of questions and/or comments about what it is that I’m writing about, for I will read them. That being said. Thank you very much for tuning in, and I will be posting some more information shortly.

In my opinion, if you’re going to send out a full-color catalog you want to make sure that it has every little less bell and whistle that you can or for the client to actually purchase your product and feel comfortable with that purchase. The thing you got to get is when you mail someone out a catalog using a direct mail campaign. It’s a very important that the client feels comfortable. The more comfortable with the client feels the more likely they are to purchase a lot more the product, which will translate to a much higher dollar amount per customer sale. Here is some of the things you want to make sure that they’re in your catalog.
1.) Order form - it’s important to have a very nice order form centered in the middle of your full-color catalog. One of the things that I saw most recently is NCR form incorporated into the order form. This is nice because it actually lets the person keep a copy of their part of the order form if they need to reference something with an order number on itthe order form.
2.) Some companies will put a nice full-color Poster in the middle of their full-color catalog. As long as it’s a good poster it’s a great idea because you can end up having people hang up the post is in very different areas in their home with your logo and telephone number all over the full-color poster.
3.) Another important thing to do is to make sure that the catalog has a very strong call to action on the cover of the. Some type of special offer that says for a limited time only you get XYZ or special gift.
The main thing is to create a good marketing campaign, and then stick to that marketing campaign. As I said so many times before, most campaigns fail because people pull the plug long before it can be successful. Another thing I would suggest to do is to find their very good advertising block from a reputable author who has written various different books on the topic and then follows procedures so you can have an effective marketing campaign in to stick with it. As this blog continues I will come up with some more information. In regards to this and some more books to suggest for you to read.
This same if you move a muscle you change a thought. What that means to me is you need to get out there on the field and start making this thing happen.
I said so many times that before he can afford direct mail campaigns and use the one to some marketing does print up some nice full color flyers and get out there and do some guerrilla marketing. Whatever it takes to be successful. That’s what you need to do.
And the other thing I would suggest to do is to work your warm markets. Go to your phone books and find out all the different people that might be interested in your products. Friends, family, aunts and uncles.

This is actually quite an easy question to answer. I believe that there was a time obviously that one in two color printing were very very affordable, which made them cost-effective. Some years ago, if you want to purchase anything like full color printing for your pocket folders, letterhead and envelopes, catalogue, brochures, for any your direct marketing campaigns. Your price should be through the roof.
I’ll give you some ideas with full-color printing can be purchased for nowadays. 5000 full color brochures can be purchased for as low as $649. This price includes printing on 100 pound text, and it also includes the bindery.
You can purchase 5000 full color business cards full color printing on both sides on 12 point cover with a UV laminate for $99. That price is five years ago would’ve been insane. Now you can purchase a two color cards for that quantity that cheap nowadays.
You can also purchase 5000 full color two sided postcards, printing out on 12 point cover with a UV laminate for only $199. This is made and direct mailing a much more cost effective solution for most companies nowadays.
You can also now by 11 x 17 full color one sided digital posters for as low as a $1.25 per unit. It’s funny when you think about it to us three or four or five years ago these machines didn’t exist.
You can also purchase full color pocket folders - meson 9 x 12 and size. The price includes die cutting and gluing of the pocket folder, and it’s also includes the business card slit seemed to your business card in your pocket folder. For 1000 of these it is now only $1150.
You can also do NCR forms now on full color digital presses. I don’t know the exact price, but these within pennies per unit. It’s actually amazing what they can do on a small full-color digital presses now.
One of the problems are having with a graphic designers, is that the technology is so far advanced that almost everything is in full color process. Now it’s actually more work for the graphic design is to do two color work to this than the design of full-color process. It’s actually hard to believe that you could spend more money designing a two color flyer than you would for full color Flyer.
The bottom line is that everything is heading towards the full color printing services. Some websites are actually optimize at the level of two color printing. But when you call when they actually throw you into a full color printing product.
I would not be surprised in some years to come. If you could buy postcards that were actually digital screens that can actually communicate with you, but the size of a piece of paper.
