One of the things that I like to do for full-color handout is to pose a question to a potential client. Let’s use the full color printing industry for example. One of the things I do on my direct mail pieces I do put big letters across the front of a 6 x 11.5 full-color postcard. And these big letters asked question : need printing??? www.preferredprint.com 1-800-329-0005
this output very large across the very top of the” them well do show various different customers with service as well as far as a weird design. I have to tell you that this particular Mailer is done very well for me over the years and I still have some clients that I can remember off the top my head that actually came to us as long as four years ago so. Though the thing to remember, when you’re promoting and/or marketing your business you want to figure list to go after of about five to 10,000 possible clients and then hit that same list is up to as many as 10 times possibly. It’s been said that people need to see a piece of least five times before they even think about calling. Consistency and branding are key to successful marketing campaign. In my opinion is no better way of doing this than using some type of full color printing service. That is well-versed in graphic design, as well as direct mail marketing. I personally don’t like to use a full-color 4 x 6 postcard. I like to use a little bit of a bigger piece either a 5 x 7 or 6 x 8. This works good for the hand-to-hand distribution as well as it works well for direct mail marketing, the USPS. I try to tell people stay away from one two three color printing and aim the more towards four color process, otherwise known as full-color printing.

One of the things I’ve noticed that most full color commercial printing companies do. His consul and concentrate on creating new customers through various different marketing concepts such as direct mail, as well as very as different mediums such as magazine advertisements, as well as pay per click advertising to the various different major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. And every so often you’ll see them sponsor some type of local social events such as one of the Chambers of commerce. I’ve done some consultation work with a company called www.preferredprint.com they were very much the same in the way that they had acquired over 3000 clients a day at either done business with in the past and/or had called on to get quotes. Over the last 10 years. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how they been in touch with their clients every 30 to 60 days. They wouldn’t have to continually go out and look for new clients. They could just work on servicing the clients that they initially had. This is obviously very important philosophy and business work. The leads that you have. Take care your existing clients and those existing clients, and that will take care of your company. That’s why I think that a lot of the commercial printing industry is going to be going back to the grassroots, which to me is all about customer service. It gets to a point that you can’t compete a price, you need to give them what they can’t get from companies of the selling price, which is service. This to me is what all heads back to have your selling full color printing services. If you are doing a direct mail campaign for a client. If you are printing things like full-color brochures and full color catalogs and full-color pocket folders. You need to service your clients. Another thing that I’ll have you stand out for beyond anybody else is the integrity and the service as well as the quality of the graphic design to hire. I drill into every single client as well as people that I mentor the integrity of the Georgia graphic design piece will ultimately make or break your whole entire campaign.

In my opinion, it appears that a lot of companies have jeered themselves into doing gang run full color printing. The problem is that once you create this would does ultimately his drives down prices lower and lower because everybody’s competing to keep those printing forms ganged up with a quick turnaround time. The way that form printing works is that you end up putting like 13 to 15 different clients on each individual forms. Basically, what generally happens is the form is 12 x 18 and then what you would normally do is put lets say eight different postcards up on that form. Usually they’ll range between 4 x 6 full color postcards to full color postcards that are 5.5 x 4.25 92 when these postcards generally is from a different client. And what you end up doing is running 5000 sheets and then cutting the sheets down in each individual postcard is a different client each client gets 5000 full color postcards. The promise is that you need to have every single day 10 to 15, 20 different clients ordering and purchasing every single day. Which then again, tends to drive the price way down because everybody’s competing triumph of their forms. Thus comes as saying live by the sword die by the sword. And based on the fact that the Internet is commoditizing everything within it commercial printing industry. Many printers have been an able to continue and keep up. And also as a result, the 12 and three color printing industry has taken huge beating and it’s very hard to find offset printers that are willing to do 12 and three color printing nowadays. They end up doing this gang runs. Not just on postcards, they also do a non-full-color pocket folders, full-color brochures, full color postcards, full color business cards, full-color letterhead and envelopes, full-color rack cards, or even companies out there that I gang running full-color 30 no plastic cards.

Very often when I meet people out in the field. They’re printed materials as well as their websites have no consistency whatsoever. I try to burn into the consciousness of every person whom I run into that the graphic design of all of your marketing pieces. You present business as well as any future business that you might be able to bring in as a result of any type of walking that you’re doing. A lot of companies spend a lot of money in the landing. So this way their marketing promotions that much more effective. And it is imperative that you do this type of consistency to all of your collateral. From your letterhead and envelope to the flyers and postcards that you have people doing distribution on. It’s also very important for you to come up with some type of customer reward system. Companies generally used a 30 mill plastic card, which gives a look of a credit card with some type of freak and shopper frequent flyer miles program. I know that www.preferredprint.com has some very good programs that they are running right now. I also liked the idea of using rack cards in a classic Lucite holder and having people do grass roots marketing campaign.

If they were ever an industry need of a jumpstart. It’s the printing industry. Commercial princes and been around for many many years that’s to good news. The bad news is, commercial full color printing has been around for many many years. Anytime and initiates used to doing business a certain way, they become very resistance to change. The reason that I’m so present to this is because I’m watching this industry as a whole not backing various different things that keep changing in today’s marketplace. First of all the Internet is the most powerful thing to hit this industry, and every industry for that matter in the history of business. This is also had some good repercussions as well as bit repercussions. The other thing that the full color commercial printing industry is not embraced a lease from my perspective is going green. This to me is an absolute must. And the more that I think about it. The more that I realize the commercial printers that embrace this whole glowing green technology will be the four front-runners of the commercial printing industry. The other industry that can really make a difference is the graphic design industry requesting inspecting all recycled paper on the wall of their new design pieces that they are now pushing out. As far as I’m concerned, whether you’re printing a full color business cards, or a full-color postcard. The job needs to be a specification in my opinion on quality recycled paper.

Are very few industries have been it is hard and had the potential grows much as a commercial full color printing industry. As you have seen so many times over the last 10 years companies and been able to come out and position themselves to Thursday for marketing techniques such as paper click advertising, as well as search engine optimization and affiliate programs. By using these various different marketing techniques there been a slew of different companies that have been able to take over just about entire marketing shares. The good thing about the Internet is that you can be seen throughout the whole entire world provider your website is correctly optimize for search engine optimization and then as well as a well thought out pay per click marketing campaign. This particular proposition deftly has good news bad news properties within it. And here’s the good news within a click of a button millions of people are actually able to find your website to the very stiff and search engines. But that is also the bad news. Because everybody has been able to come across your to the Internet. Most times things that make you different from your competitors is to be able to give the client more product for less money. So let’s take a look at this for a second if my competitors offering 5000 full color business cards for $150. than I can turn around and offer a 5000 full color business cards for $125. And then another big commercial printing company sees that company a is or from $150 for full color business cards and company be is offering $125 for full color business cards. Then they come out more for 5000 full color business cards for $99 and then kick in free shipping as an added perk to the client. So doesn’t take long to figure out that as a result of the Internet. Many many businesses have become commoditized. So for a company to have longevity as well as profitability is imperative for a commercial printer to distinguish itself from his competitors. I think this is why so many companies have chosen to go niche rather than mainstream. The more niche to product, the more it’s in demand. So as far as I see it. That’s the real question that needs to be answered is how far can you sway away from what your competitors are doing. And then at that point just about exploiting those products and services, out into the world. This information has no boundaries in any products, and she reported in to every and any product that relates to, marketing promotion full color printing, catalog printing, direct mail services, presentation folders, full color flyers, Brochure Printing, Color catalogs.

I think one of the things that were all guilty of doing, whether you’re in the commercial printing. All year selling cars to people locally. Essential care what it is that you do, but most of us at some time or another is business owners have neglected our clients. It’s still often than I hear companies concerned again and again about how the gun to bring new business into their companies. And a lot of times there is tremendous amount of business within start our existing client base. The problem is that for not reaching out to these clients to direct mail marketing pieces by using nice-looking full-color brochures or full color postcards and were missing the boat. Usually most companies as many opportunities to put marketing material in various different collateral that they give to their clients. Yet ceased to do this. Our full color printing company has been the same way and many times. One of my newest ideas I came up with as I told my partner. What we should be doing is taking a nicely done full color trifold brochure or and putting into every single box. That leaves our facility. Think about it this way, on average. Our company sends out 30 to 40 boxes a day. The client is a repeat for shipping of the material back to the location. So by take a brochure and put a within side of their box showing various different products that we or for as well as new products that were starting to offer. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out or going to get a certain amount of business and that the clients paying for the shipping anyway, so they don’t care if I give them something else to look at for free. This to me is a win-win takes care of some free marketing for you as the company and allows your customer who obviously are we like shoe because it doing business with you on a regular basis to have the possibility may be referring your new clients and/or taking you up on some of your new services that he may not have known that you offered in the past.

When was the last time you update your full-color brochure. Most companies don’t think about this on a regular basis, but the truth is, it is very important to keep your company look and design up to date. I guess that’s why so important that hire and work with a quality graphic design company. Your corporate identity is similar to wallpaper, what wallpaper was: updated back in 2002 would not be considered to be: updated in 2008. That’s why it’s so important to stay ahead of the curve. You should also keep in mind obviously that when updating this information is also needs to be liquefied throughout all of your different marketing collateral. Such is full color business, cards full color pocket, folder’s full-color posters, full-color rack cards. I can’t tell you how many times did I see people come into her office is looking to redesign. One part of their corporate identity, and there is drastic inconsistency with their business cards to their postcards, right down the line to all the promotional collateral. Some clients Alexy come in with two different business cards completely different designs on completely different stocks. That’s why try to pound into the consciousness of every promotional director and marketing director that it’s imperative to have consistency in a corporation. One of our slogans in the printing company is, prices is important, but you your image is everything.

When most people think of marketing. They think of pushing a specific product in various different ways such as full color catalog printing, full-color brochure printing, color flyer printing, color postcard printing. Generally when using these various different products you’ll push a specific event, and/or a specific special that you are running for a limited time only.
I do think that when most people think a promotion they think more at the level of branding. You see various different con parties do this such as Geico, Coke Cola, HP etc. this is more to make consumers aware of the product through frequency. It generally is not pushing any specific product or any specific event.
I personally think that there is marketing materials that if done correctly. You can pursue both branding as well is taking advantage of promoting any specific events that you may look to promoting near future, as well as pushing any specific product that you may have a surplus of as well new product launches.
You can also use a grass roots promotion or do both as well. One of the things I used to do when I was opening up a nightclub years ago. If it was a grand opening of a new location. What I would do about a month and a half prior to actually putting out the grand opening color flyers. I would start to distribute teasers. The way that this would work as are actually create a flyer that would just have the logo on it and then it would say something to the effect is coming. I remember I did a 40 few ars ago called industry in Island Park Long Island. In a month and a half before the grand opening I put out these teases that said industry is coming. There are no telephone numbers, no addressed nothing that would have people realize what the specific event was more or less like a secret for people to try and figure out.
Then three weeks before the actual events I would start a massive Blitzkrieg. I would order someone an area of 50,000 full-color flyers. Usually these would be somewhere in the area of a 4 x 6. I would distribute these everywhere. I would also send out press releases, as well as have people calling my mailing lists and creating VIP Flyer parties. It was not uncommon for an event like this for its grand opening night to do someone an area of 1500 to 2000 people.
So when you think about why can’t you do the same type of technique for virtually any business for any grand opening.
You also have the ability to this same type of thing through an e-mail blast type teaser followed up then with a full color postcard in the mail promoting the actual event. This is obviously what’s known as a marketing next, the more impressions that you can put them from the client the more likely you are to actually in sure your actual sale.
Another technique that I like to use is to order a full color rackcards and put them in a clear Lucite plastic holder on the different desks of the hotel managers, as well as hotel lobby entrances. He’s also work well in high traffic retail locations.
And last but not least another great technique that I like to use is to order some large full-color posters. Usually those of a 24 x 36 and tape goes up in various different places. Obviously high traffic places to promote my events, whether it’s a retail outlet or the grand opening of a nightclub. Effective way to do some marketing and promotion for your company.

This is a very good way to get some free marketing and promotion out there for your company. As well as a practice that I’ve been doing probably for last 8 years in my own full color printing and graphics company.
If you print it tag it!!!!
One of the things that we do on virtually every single printed material that leaves are factory we tag. What this means is we put a small tag on the bottom of all of our printed pieces that say where it came from our website address, as well as our 800 number. It’s very similar to when something is made in China or its main Japan. Product is stamped with it meaning its place of origin, where is made.
This is the way, there are tag looks –
Need Printing??? www.preferredprint.com 1-800-329-0005
this tag generally appears on every single printed product that we produce from our full-color pocket folders, full color postcards, full-color brochures as well as our 1 and 2 color ncr forms.
One of the things I do on a regular basis is walk around my office and speak to my graphic design is an estimate they’ve tagged their designs. My slogan is, if you’re working on and you’re designing you should put design imprinted with an 800 number and where they can contact you if they would like to purchase your product.
That’s why resist my people and answer the phone the police find out whether people came from the bases on how advertisements. Did they find us on the Internet when they were searching for a full color printing. Or did the person pick up a postcard that they received in the mail from a direct marketing campaign. Or did they pick up a flyer that they got on their car from a full-color flyer from a nightclub. You’d be surprised how many people call us after picking up one of our customers flyers and then contact us to actually get their next full-color printing job.
This is one of the ways that we keep her advertising course down we can pass that savings to the consumer.
