How do I create a good logo??

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

People estimate is quite often, obviously as being an owner of a full color printing and graphic design company. People ask me all the time about logo design. The first thing I would tell you about, logo design is very important for you the customer to know what it is that you have a mine.  You may ask yourself how is it done loan to find out what it is that I like.  Very simple, where I would suggest that you do is to actually go to Borders.  Or maybe Barnes & Noble going to the graphic design area of the bookstore and star looking at books on creating logos.  There are many good books out there that have various different styles from hundreds of not thousands of different town the graphic designers around the country. Then when she find a couple logos alike than you can actually give a brief description to the graphic designer that you want to design your logo. The thing is really important for you to keep in mind is that you logo is going to be the one constant on every and all walking products that you’re going to be putting out for your new company. The slow old be carried through, probably a full color business cards as well as a full-color brochure. But it doesn’t stop there than you need to come up with a pocket folder with your logo on it letterhead and envelopes with your logo on it. You’re going to get a full-color catalog what you logo on all your direct and talking pieces going to have your logo on.  And the logo and marketing your business like a full-color banner.  Direct mail pieces flyers that you print up to do hand and distribution every single thing is going to have a logo on it.  That’s why it’s imperative that when you’d spend money on the logo you don’t skimp get what it is that you need get what is that you want.  So som porn when the creating the logo to make sure that they give it to you so can be run within process colors like a beauty 12 or three color printing the logo would transfer into that and you can utilize it.  So if you had to do T-shirt store to various different things like embroidery that you can actually use a logo for that as well.  Most people realize how much information goes into creating a logo.  That’s what are usually so expensive.

Generating more business to your full-color printing website..??

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

Here are some great techniques that will generate more business to your full color printing website.

1.)  It’s important I actually have a website that is search engine optimization friendly. I mention this to people because very often they have websites as they were designed many many years ago and they don’t have the rights code set in place for them to be search engine optimization friendly. I will be happy to also give you reputable company to do your search engine optimization. The name of this company is called www.iconwebsitesearchengineoptimization.com or you can use their sister at website which is called www.iconwebsitedesign.com you can find them at either one of these two particular websites and I find them to be a very reputable company I’ve used them for many years I’ve been always happy with all their work.

2.) Another thing I will help you bring traffic to your full-color printing website is to do various different things such as e-mail newsletters.

The way that this works is you take all of your e-mail addresses that you’ve compiled over years and years of being in business and have won your graphic designers designing e-mail blasts in HTML. Usually it’s a good idea to create some type of special like you 5000 full-color business cards for $99 or something about maybe a full-color catalog for X amount of  Dollars limited time only. It’s obvious that you need to create a very strong call to action memo have somebody want to take you up on your offer.

3.) One of the things that we do in our full-color printing company that has helped us climb up the ranks of  Google, Yahoo and MSN we have affiliated us with various different Free online business directories. One of them that I will be happy to tell you about and I’ve been very happy with the level of service that we have gone from this particular company. The name of this site is http://www.freeprintingdirectoryonline.com/ this particular directory has been very good for us and created a lot of exposure.

4.) The other thing that they offer on this particular directory which I will now get into is actually buying banner ads. The vets can usually can be placed from anywhere from $50-$100 per month. On some of these directories they get anywhere from 10,000 tuneup words of 100,000 hits per month on these different directories.

5.) And last but not least if you want to generate some more business for your printing company what could be better than doing some hand-to-hand distribution of various different markets in your area. And he can expect people to buy printing from you and then you don’t even use your own products to promote your business. I’m a caveat to create a small full-color 4 x 6 postcard and go down to the local malls and start doing some distribution hand-to-hand to the various different business owners.

Operating in a high level of effectiveness in your next marketing campaign!!

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

Obviously there are many different products that one can use to create an effective marketing campaign.  It has been my experience in the past that some people clearly down with play.  How important it is to create the right call to action that will have your audience purchasing from you.

Let’s look a little bit about how some businesses are more effective than other businesses at the level of their marketing campaigns. And as I speak about marketing campaign some encompassing all types of different marketing techniques such as direct mailing services, guerrilla marketing full color flyers, thank your full color letterheads & envelopes internally.

It is a question I asked people on a regular basis.  If you took a piece of toilet paper and put your name and number on it and do a little logo by hand and handed that out as a source of your business card.  What do you think most people’s response would be, more formally, how do you think that you would leave deck client in their perception about you and your company. So the next question is as if you did the same thing.  But yet and so using toilet paper you used a nice piece of paper that had been cut to a 2 x 3.5 size, which is your average size for business card and you wrote your name and number need legal and sketched a logo about your company on a business card, would he think people’s response would be that in having you think that they would view you in your company after receiving that as well. Then you took that same exact piece of paper.  Instead of sketching anything you actually created a nice two color logo with a simple, easy-to-read font.

Obviously the more professionally, you can make something look, as well as not having it appear or occurred or be cluttered, the better off you are.

The next thing that’s obviously very important is to create a very strong and effective call to action on those very stiff and pieces whether they be business card sized flyers, a full-color 4 x 9 rack card, an 8.5 x 11 full-color trifold brochure, or a 40 page full-color catalog. What you say on these particular products is very important in the effectiveness and profitability of these tools that have the ability of impacting your business in a positive way.

Some other thing is that you can actually create from effective call to action is what’s known eight take action statement.

They generally look something like this.

: for a limited time only when you purchase 5000 full-color postcards.  You will receive 5000 complementary business cards with a retail value $150. While supplies last, good only for the next 30 days with an expiration date

: if you’re one of the first 300 callers, you will be put into a drawing to receive $5,00. in cash.

These are simple but effective calls action which would have your average customer looking to take advantage of these particular situations.  What I normally like to use is what’s known as a media mix. Generally, what you’ll do is you are actually create four or five different products that would actually have you have an effective marketing campaign and use them all simultaneously within the first 30 days to market that specific product. When I would generally do is suggest to a customer to order a full color vinyl banner, a full-color 24 x 36 inch poster, a 4 x 9 rack card to be distributed through local retail stores. I may also have them create a nice full-color brochure as well. Then when I generally would tell them to do is with the full-color rack cards to put the manner local retailers. Maybe sent out 5000 piece mailer to the very different retail markets, they’re looking to penetrate.  And then also to send out a nice size catalog to their existing client base.

I would also make sure that the graphic designer was working on one piece is saying graphic designer designing old pieces soon and there is a consistency to wall the marketing material.

When the companies that I referred to now and then to my readers so they can purchase affordable full-color printing is the website www.preferredprint.com

Sometimes less is more

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

This is something that applies to virtually every and all full color printing products. One of things that I’ve noticed since full color printing has become so popular, the overuse of colors.  What I mean by this is quite simply, it looks like somebody from the coal over peace has become so busy chanting and decipher what it is that they’re trying to sell versus what the actual copy is itself.  Quite simply said is they create too much information with too much busyness in the background, which dilutes the actual message of what it is that you’re trying to accomplish. Sometimes I asked a simple question, what is the purpose of marketing?  You would think the answer would be obviously to create sales.  It seems to me that sometimes the products is so busy that you came and decipher what the call to action on the page is.

Plastic Cards, Pocket Folders,Poster Printing,Rack Card Printing,Vinyl Banner Printing,Catalog Printing,Catalog Printing, Color Printing Services,Direct marketing,Flyer Printing,Direct marketing

in the paragraph above is a list of various different full color printing projects that you may see a company order at any given time.  I personally feel that the use of light and the background is obviously a very good thing.  It cuts down on the busyness of the project and/or the message.  I feel deeply nice image with a decent space of why is well.  And then the message of whatever you call to action is very effective way to get point.  Your point across. That’s why really believe that less is more. A nice image that has the person be drawn into the marketing piece and then exceptional hook that has them ponder and think like me and this is something I could use, or I got a have this.

As time goes on my hope to give you some difference designs that I think are good, versus ones I think are bad. Also affected and calls to action versus nonaffected calls to action. Essentially what I’m drawn to say’s marketing pieces and actually get a return on your investment.

I just want to respond to some questions and comments about what I’ve been writing about.

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

First off, I want to apologize if there are some typos in some of the stuff in which I’ve been speaking about. I have to admit, I’m not very good at typing. I have been using a program which some of you may have heard of, which is called natural speaking dragon. The way this program works ejections speaking to a headset and it.’s supposed to take whatever you speak about and turn them into text. So there are definitely times at there have been some typos probably does the program has not understood what I’ve been speaking about not to mention the fact that I have not really done virtually any proof reading to find out if the program has made some mistakes. I do however want you to know that the things I do speak about I do every with extensive knowledge about them. So I apologize.  And thank you for your forgiveness if you have been coming across some typos.  In the meantime, feel free to leave any type of questions and/or comments about what it is that I’m writing about, for I will read them. That being said.  Thank you very much for tuning in, and I will be posting some more information shortly.

Sporting events and marketing??

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

Guerrilla Marketing and sporting events were seemingly made for one another. First let me give you the components that you’re going to need to have this be successful.

1.) Two  full color vinyl banners 3′ x 15′ make sure they have the grommets so you can use zip ties to attach the vinyl banner to a fence or you can take a wood 2 x 4 cutting the bottom or fumbles slide so becomes pointy and hammer into the ground.  And then uses up ties on even started to hold the banner.  You probably need a total of 3 –  2 x 4 — one on either end, and one 2 x 4 in the middle.  Obviously you are going to have to come up with a promotional idea for this 3′ x 15′ full color banner.

((((( What I want you to do is take this banner and put it in front of the two main entrances of the sporting arena - in most cases there have a problem with this grant is going to be up there for maybe a couple of hours and hopefully you’ll be able to get it back in your possession before they pull it down.  So you can use it again in a later date))) ((( one other thing, make sure that your promotion is not dated.  So you can use us again later on  ))))

2.) The second thing that I suggest that you buy are some 4 x 6 full-color FLYERS. Now even the duties are you soon as the game starts and everybody leaves their cars and heads in to the game. Every single car and put on these flies on every single door on every single car on the driver side door. Obviously one of the things you want to do is find out how many expected people are going to be at any particular game.  I would just call up the stadium and ask them how many people do expect for this particular sporting event.  So you have enough flyers to fill the job. Does then you probably don’t want to do is make sure that you have a lease 8 to 10 people the help you with this job, because is no way you’re going to be able to do 20 30,000 cars by yourself.

Full color Vinyl Banner Printing

Friday, October 5th, 2007

Did you know that in most cities that you can hang a full color banner off the side of your building?? Why would you want to do this? because If you do this you can create a marketing ideas and tell the whole word about it. Let me give you a for instants. I have a client that has a store in Fort Lauderdale Florida and he sell Kitchen equipment to business all over Florida. Now where he is located you would never find him if not for good signage. The best thing that he has going for him is his frontage. He has 200 ft. along I-95. So you tell me it you put a 8ft x 30ft Vinyl Banner in front of your place and 500,000 cars a day have the possibility to see it day in and day out, are you going to do business?? Most cites will let you put up what they call a temporary sing.

Vinyl banners and effectively using them

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

I think Vinyl banners if used properly, are probably one of the best returns on investments. Think about it this way, if you were able to put a vinyl banner that was maybe 8 feet tall.  20 feet long and label to put this down on the highway overpass, let’s say I-95 in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I would imagine on any given day that that particular intersection would probably a half a million cars traveling through that core door in a 24-hour period. I would imagine it’s probably a very conservative estimate on the traffic that travels through the area. Let’s say on that value advertise free full color business cards with your first order and fine print under that any orders exceeding $500 in value. How much business providing your website name was something that was easily read and remember. I would imagine it was a very clever banner that it would produce tremendous amount sales, which would then translate to good money in your pocket. It is another use of full color Vinyl Banner. Let’s say your business has a lot of traffic coming through it and uses smart businessperson would like to cash in on some of the traffic and sell various different products that maybe your customers don’t even know that you have. That’s another great idea, you can put a vinyl banner over the entrances and exits of every doorway. Obviously this would generate a lot more sales and/or tell clients about products that they didn’t know that you have that you do have.
